 | Hi Sandy,
do you mean your name online, where it says :maatjes online?
You can only see the names of your hobbyfriends who are online at that moment, you can`t see your own name, but your hobbyfriends can (and you don`t have to do anything to get your name in the list)

 | Sorry Sandy - I`m at a bit of a loss with this one as I`ve never tried it.
I know it shows you which of your hobbyfriends are actually online BUT didn`t know you could chat.

| | Someone here had a profile and I can`t remember his/her name. This person had in their photos some real good patterns that they were sharing. The initials on the patterns are AKH. Can someone direct me to where this persons profile is. These patterns are wonderful and I lost the ones I had when my computer crashed and I would like to get them back if possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

 | LOL Thanks for that Ellis
I use a range of translators - first I translate from English into `another` language..... copy the result and then paste that BACK into the translator and then re-translate from the `other` language back into English.......
I do this a couple of times as I often have to change what I have written in English to get an understandable result.
I also find they miss relevant words... ie. I`ve just done a translation of what you said and it says
log, click the Dutch flag (top right) and log in again.
Surely it should say Log OUT, click the Dutch flag.... blah blah
Well at least BETWEEN US we can get there in the end lol
Thanks for your help |

 | Hi Sam,
.......the Google translator, I`ve tried it a couple of times, but it came up with very strange senteces. LOL The translation you got is also a bit strange (but understandable) f.i. the word "knoop" is a litteral translation of the word button.......the kind you`d find on a coat or shirt LOL.
if anyone asks the same question again, you can give them this answer:
log uit, klik op de Nederlandse vlag (rechtsboven) en log daar opnieuw in.

Thanks for backing me up

| | Hi,
A couple of weeks ago I put a request in this site and now cannot find where I put it. Maybe somebody has already replied. The question was, does anybody out there know if there is a stitching pattern of a dragon and if so where can I buy it. It is for a friend of mine whose grandson is very into dragons at the moment. Thank you.

 | Hi Tiger
Just click on the underlined name of the person who has the pattern ie. EmeliesDesigns.
This will take you to that person`s profile area.
Click on the Photo Album icon at the top of the page and this will then show you `Emys` new design folders.
Click on the folder you want - and open up an image to view.
To save this pattern you will need to right click on the pattern and then select Save Image As.... then locate where you wish to save it to on your PC.
Hope that helps

| | Hi,
On page 12 of H.J. 46 there is a gorgeous card with a lovely pink rose in the centre. From what I gather this is done on a cd. I was wondering if any one out there knew if there is a special tool to prick the cd? and if so where can it be purchased? My ordinary pin pricking tool will not do this. I have made the card on white card, but it does not look as good. Nice, but not glittery. It may tell you how this is done in the magazine but unfortunately English is the only language I speak. Hoping someone can help. Thank you.

 | Hi June
This is also a search I am involved in... I am looking at wholesalers all over the place but having a nightmare time trying to find them.
I gather they are 3mm x 6mm rice beads (for want of any other explanation) so if anyone can shed light on where to get them from, then I would be most appreciative.

Oh Sam and other HJ ladies if I had known you wanted this site I would have posted it a lot sooner, but I am glad that Wendy was able to help.
This was one of the first sites I was given when I first joined HJ many months ago and they have some wonderful patterns and instructions on how to drill the CD`s.
I haven`t personally drilled any I have given that job to my dad, he has a bench drill and he finds it easier to do it that way, but I wasn`t able to find a .08mm drill bit so I used a 1mm which works just as well.
I have bought some pre-drilled ones from a lady in Western Australia she bought them from overseas ( I would presume Holland) and she sells them online.
Have fun going through the 800 or so patterns they have, you will never be short of ideas and designs.
Look forward to hearing from you all with your finished designs.
Have fun creating ladies.

| | Hi everyone,
See this site for instructions on creating embroidered CDs.
http://www.kaartborduren.nl/_startpage.html
Scroll down to CD FRAMES then CD PROCEDURE. You need a hobby drill such a Dremmel but if your drill doesnt take the appropriate size drill bit you can buy collets which will convert the drill to take a smaller size bit. Hope this helps.
